Another speciality is their complete service, from sowing the seed, cutting, wrapping storing and delivering various sizes of haylage bales, Thompson Haylage is your one stop shop for haylage this winter.

Thompson Haylage was established in 2002 by David Thompson and has been supplying top quality haylage throughout Co. Down and the surrounding areas for the past 10 years with growing each year to meet the growing demand for high quality products.

davidthompson2David Thompson made the decision to grow Italian Rye grass designed for equines and cultivated to produce a haylage high in fibre, as well as a good source of energy. It’s coarse texture produces more saliva, helping to aid digestion.

It is suitable for horses in all types of disciplines, from Race Horses to ‘Happy Hackers’ it also helps to keep shine and condition on your horse throughout the winter months.

Each bale is treated with an antifungal additive to ensure the highest quality in every bale from Thompson Haylage.

All bales come in a size to suit you:davidthompson1• Jumbo Bales (approx 700kg)
• Medium Bales (approx 350kg)
• Small Bales (approx 25kg)
• Large Round Bales (approx 450kg)

Thompson Haylage is based in Donacloney, however it delivers within a 30 mile radius and deliveries can be arranged by contacting David 07850 555524.
