Indie’N Summer Night at Connell Hill

As the sun continues to shine Connell Hill is the place to be to jump your horse in the cool of the indoor arena, competitors took advantage of this opportunity as they attended the training show on Friday night.  A young man going places following his sisters hoof-prints is Calum McVeigh on ‘Indie’ as he jumped clear in the 50 cm class as did Naomi McCavana.  Going home with red rosettes for double clears in the 60 cm class were Alex Byrne on ‘Willow’, Jodie Creighton on ‘Reilly’ and Lindsey Cameron on ‘Indie’.  Robert Graham on ‘Angel’ had a successful night with double clears in the 70 cm and 80 cm class.  Peadar McLaughlin on ‘Dun Deal’ jumped the only double clear in the 90 cm class and then another double clear in the 1.0 m class.  Another aspiring young rider is Ellie-Rose Cassidy, on her new mount, ‘Finbar’ jumped double clear in the 1.0 m class.

SJI Horse League continues on Thursday 13^th, 20^th, 27^th June, 4^th, 11^th, 18^th July, final on Thursday 25^th July, classes 80 cm – 1.30 m, starting at 10.00 am.

Mini Grand Prix Pony Show on Saturday 22^nd June at 10.00 am classes 128 cm 70 cm, 128 cm 80 cm, U 10’s [pony acquired more than 69 points], 128 cm 90 cm, 128 1.0 m[s], 138 cm 80 cm, 138 cm 90 cm, 138 cm 1.0 m, 138 cm 1.10 m [s], 148 cm 90 cm, 148 cm 1.0 m, 148 cm 1.10 m, 148 cm 1.20 m [s].
