What an ‘Angel’ says Beth
As the snow has finally cleared, competitors that were house-bound were once again able to travel to Connell Hills’ Friday night training show. It was a friendly, relaxed family night, where competitors had the opportunity of jumping young horses and also horses new to their riders. To start the night off Lauren Fleming on ‘Lola’ jumped a clear round in the 50 cm class with Zoe Black on ‘Kansas’ jumping a double clear in the 60 cm class. It was double celebrations for Beth Boone on ‘Angel’ when they jumped double clear in the 70 cm class and 80 cm class, this dedicated young lady is certainly one to watch for the future. Nicola McLaughlin on ‘Oscar’ and Aaron Reid on ‘Nugget’ also jumped double clear in the 80 cm class. When the 90 cm class got under way Kathryn Marshall on ‘Biggins’ and Nicola McLaughiin on ‘Yoggi’ took the red rosettes, with Shannon Livingstone on ‘Tilly’ and Courtney Hamilton on her new horse ‘Buddy’ jumping double clear rounds in the 1.0 m class.
