Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary Annual Sponsored Dog Walk 2013
Put your best foot (or paw) forward for a good cause.
Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary, CLAS, in Co. Antrim will be holding it’s Annual Sponsored Dog Walk on Saturday 4th May, leaving the Sanctuary at 12 noon with light refreshments on return. Traditionally this is a chance for everyone to get together to support the charity and to bring their dogs, many of whom are rescued dogs, on a 4 mile sponsored walk. The route is along country roads and is suitable for buggies and well behaved dogs on leads. Some of the charity’s horses and ponies also enjoy the walk.
Tiny Tim, the Crosskennan Collie, says, “If you can’t take part in the 4 mile walk but still want to help, why not sponsor me? I’ve been in training to raise funds for my rescued friends.”

All the money collected will go directly towards the care of the horses, dogs, cats and chickens at Crosskennan. The sanctuary needs the support of the public more than ever to continue it’s animal welfare and education work.

Directions:
Leaving Belfast on M2.
Exit at Junction 6..(signposted B95),onto the Rathbeg Roundabout.
Take 3rd exit onto the Rathbeg Rd.
At end of this road (about 1 mile long) turn right at T junction, onto Ballynoe Rd.
Follow this road for 1 mile until reach a small crossroads.
Turn left onto Crosskennan Lane.
The sanctuary is about 100m along on the right hand side.
