The following persons have been appointed to the Board of Dressage Ireland Ltd

Vice-Chairperson

Joe Reynolds is a name well known within dressage circles in Ireland. His son Andrew was a successful pony rider and his daughter Judy is an Irish International Dressage rider who is competing very successfully abroad and our current National Champion.  He is even better known within Irish Motor Sport and is a Director of Royal Irish Automobile Club and Irish Motorsport Federation Ltd. He has previously competed in three FIA European Rally Championships.  He also enjoys sailing and has competed in the Fastnet around Ireland race. Joe is not only a successful businessman but brings a great depth of experience to the board.

 

Finance Director

Norbert Von Cramon has worked tirelessly for the benefit of Dressage Ireland over many years and Norbert is multi -talented and he recently designed and developed an electronic scoring system to cater for the new half marks. He is an FEI official and officiated at the Pony European Championships in 2014. He is a member of the Board of Horse Sport Ireland, actively involved in organising our National Championships, and on a daily basis looks after our finances. We are delighted to retain Norbert’s wealth of experience as he continues in the role of Finance Director.

 

Company Secretary

Aisling Jordan of Jordan Law Solicitors is a member of Dressage Ireland and has competed up to Novice level. She joined the Leinster Region committee earlier this year. Aisling has a special interest in Youth Development and training. She is a long term member of the Irish Pony Society and served on their judges’ panel for many years.   Aisling joins the board as a Director and Company Secretary.

 

 

 

Technical Delegate

Vida Tansey is currently a list two judge and secretary of the Judges Committee of Dressage Ireland. She has previously served on the board in many capacities, most recently as Vice Chairperson.  Vida was a founding member of the Midlands and Western Region and given the geographical size and propensity for show jumping in the area it was a huge task. She is a wonderful supporter of Youth Development and has acted as chef d’équipe for Irish teams travelling abroad both at Under 21 Championships and Junior/Young rider Championships. Both her daughter’s Sana and Ria have represented Ireland at European level.  Vida is not only a judge and a trainer but has also produced some wonderful horses, the most notable being Custom Made who went on to win a Gold medal for America in the Sydney Olympics.
