Geoff Billington Masterclass and Training Clinics at Emerald This December

emerald equestrianFollowing on from last weekend’s hugely successful Irish Masters Show, Emerald International Equestrian in Co Kildare is gearing up for its next major event, with world famous British show jumper Geoff Billington hosting a Masterclass and a day of rider clinics at the venue on Friday December 12th.
Geoff has been riding since the age of eleven and has been established for several years as one of Britain’s top riders having competed in European and World Championships, Olympic Games, Nations Cup’s and he is also a former winner of the Hickstead Derby.
Following his sixth place finish at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996, Geoff was awarded the ‘Horse and Hound Equestrian Personality of the Year’ and his horse It’s Otto was voted the ‘Outstanding Horse of 1996.’ It’s Otto retired at Olympia 2001.
A supreme entertainer, Geoff has also made a name for himself with impressions of his fellow riders as well as presenting the ‘Simply the Best Tour’ in partnership with John Whitaker.
The Geoff Billington Masterclass will take place from 7pm to 10pm on Friday December 12th while riders of all levels have a once in a lifetime opportunity to book a place in special training clinics with Geoff which also take place on the day.
Open to both horse and pony riders, the Geoff Billington training clinics will be limited to four people per lesson at a special price of €100 per person which includes entry to the evening Masterclass later that evening.
Emerald’s bar and restaurant facilities will be open all through the event with tickets priced at €20 per adult and €10 per child while a family ticket is available for 2 adults and 2 children for just €40.
