Emerald International Begin Qualifying Competitions for Masters Show
The first of two young horse qualifiers for the November Irish Masters at Emerald International Equestrian Centre. will take place this coming Wednesday (22nd October) at the hugely impressive, newly opened Kildare venue.
Jumping in the main indoor arena will get underway at 9.00am on Wednesday with the 5 year-old qualifier, where 15 places will be on offer for the November Irish Masters CT PR and Event Management 5 year old final, which carries a very lucrative prize-find of €3,000.
This will be followed by the first 6 year-old qualifier with another 15 qualifying places up for grabs for the Bourns Sport Horses 6 year-old final at the Emerald Irish Masters, where another €3,000 will be on offer.
The 7 year-old horse qualifier will round off Wednesday’s action at Emerald, where riders will hope to book one of the 15 places on offer for the €3,000 November Irish Masters 7 year-old final.
All three young horse qualifiers at Emerald this Wednesday will carry prize-funds of €500 in each competition, with entries taken on the day, while a second round of young horse qualifiers will take place on Wednesday 29th October at Emerald International.
The newly laid surfaces at Emerald International received glowing praise from a host of Ireland’s top riders at a test event earlier this week and the centre is now taking bookings for private arena hire, at a very special introductory rate of €70 per-hour.
The Emerald International Irish Masters runs from November 14th – 16th 2014 and features a massive prize-fund of €55,000, along with a host of Masterclasses from top Show Jumping and Eventing riders.
