Ravensdale’s Weekly Results Round Up

Weekly shows ran as normal this week at Ravensdale Lodge as the weather turned more seasonable after the fine recent spell. SJI registered indoor show jumping for horses was held on Thursday with six modified classes from 80cm to 1.10 starting at 11am, these shows continue weekly to Thursday 11th December. A good number of competitors turned up to compete in the Botanica International indoor horse & pony training league despite the torrential rain that fell on Friday. Sean Cooney of Botanica International was on hand to award the weekly class prizes to combinations that drew the lucky rosette, these shows continue weekly to Friday 12th December and have a start time of 5.30pm. Horse First are the sponsors of the indoor arena eventing league at Ravensdale Lodge on Saturday afternoon. This mix of show jumps and portable cross country fences in an arena environment has grown in popularity as the centre enjoyed another busy day. Indoor arena eventing runs to Saturday 14th December and has a start time of 2pm for the 70cm class, 3pm for the 85cm class and 4pm for the 1m class. Indoor dressage finished the weekly competitions on Sunday afternoon, this run continuing until Sunday 14th December. Combinations can find the weekly classes on the Ravensdale Lodge website and competition kicks off at 2pm. Looking ahead to the mid-term break, Ravensdale Lodge are set to hold their annual “Spooktacular Bumper Halloween Show” on Sunday 26th October. This ever popular show which caters for kids and adults, horses and ponies alike will have a start time of 11am with the usual classes from X poles to 1.10m and an array of great class prizes courtesy of Ravensdale Lodge, Botanica International, Horse First, Mackins Horse Feeds & Moorhill Saddlery.
