Tipperary’s Greg Broderick beat off a top class international field of 45 horses and riders, to win Thursday’s two-phase competition at the 2 star show in Arezzo, Italy. Written by Brian Hennessy
Broderick was riding the Noel Cawley owned ten-year-old Crusing mare Rincarina, and finished with well over a second in hand over his nearest challenger Mario Rota from Italy, with Spanish rider Cristina Lopez in third.
Just a week ago, Greg Broderick was crowned Irish National Show Jumping Champion following his win in the TRM/Horseware Premier Series.
The 2 star International Grand Prix in Arezzo takes place on Sunday and carries with it valuable Longines World Ranking points.
