Gransha RC Jumping For Fun
Fun jumping was the topic for Gransha Riding Club’s recent event. The 60/70cms pairs was won by Suzi McClean/Scooby and Clare Sloan/Ronaldo two seconds ahead of Emma Martin/Kate and Sara Brashaw/ Echo, with junior members Josh Getty/Autumn Surprise and Ashleigh Saunderson/Stuart Lyttle in 3rd place. In the 80/90cms pairs Laura Buckley/Mr T and Paula Dougherty/Briggs were the winners.
The Top Score competition kept the judges on their toes with a variety of courses being jumped all trying to gain the most points in the fastest time closest to 45secs. . Coloured horses were jumping at their best in both class with Suzi McClean and her cob Scooby taking the honours in the 60/70cms class and Diane McCully with Mineview Major Tom winning the 80/90cm class. Its was a great evening, thank you to course builder James and his helpers, to time keepers Alison, Rachel, Heather Diane and Robbie, and to judge Anne and her assistant judge Nicola. Next round of the Working Hunter league will be on Wednesday 12th February
