Another Year for Strule Valley Riding Club
Lucinda Blakiston-Houston receives the Dolly Mixture Shield from Alison Donnell Secretary, for attending the most riding club events throughout the year
STRULE VALLEY RIDING CLUB, Omagh, Co Tyrone held their Annual General Meeting recently at the RDA, Arvalee, Omagh. Lucinda Blakiston Houston, Chairperson welcomed everyone to the meeting & Alison Donnell read her secretary’s report highlighting club activities over the year. Pearl Donnell then gave her treasurers report & all offices were declared vacant.
Kyle Hayes officiated at the election of officers & Lucinda Blakiston Houston was proposed as Chairperson, Pearl Donnell Treasurer & Alison Donnell Secretary. The following members were elected onto the committee – Ann & Noel Regan, Yvonne Chisholm, Jane Huey & Gillian Hynes.
Members continue with their autumn schedule; with polework lessons with Mandi King at Ecclesville, progressing to gridwork lessons & showjumping.
The new committe will meet shortly to plan the winter schedule to include the months of December, January & February! New members are very welcome to join, aged 18+.
