Jumps Ahead at Saintfield Charity Show
Two busy showjumping arenas were in action at Saturday’s Saintfield Charity Horse Show, held once again at Tyrella House. After a wet start to the day, the horse arena hosted some stiff competition, as well as also proving to be a useful learning experience for many novice horses and new combinations. The neighbouring pony arena saw a steady stream of young riders passing through the start line, all eager to prove themselves and perhaps even take home a red rosette or trophy! As usual, two immaculate courses were presented by Raymond Jess, rideable and inviting with a tricky question or two thrown in for good measure.
