Halliday Smith and Jackson Victorious in Fourth Leg of Irish Sport Horse Eventing Series

IN THE fourth leg of the Irish Sport Horse Eventing series at Ravensdale Lodge in Co. Louth today (Saturday), Colin Halliday rode Emma Jackson’s Creevagh Connection, by Creevagh Ferro Ex Siebe, bred by Ronnie Hollinger, to first place in the 6 year-old section.

The 5 year-old class at Ravensdale was won by Steven Smith aboard Diane Harron Eakin’s Ringfort Rubicon, by Iroko, bred by the owner.

In the 4 year-old section, Emma Jackson took the laurels on her own Nero Sunset, by Nero Astaire, bred by Michael Conlon.

Today’s three competitions were part of the Horse Sport Ireland series for 4 year-old, 5 year-old and 6 year-old Irish Sport Horses, with over €20,000 in prize money.

There are eight legs in the 5 year-old and 6 year-old series and four legs in the 4 year-old series.
