STRULE VALLEY RIDING CLUB held the final of their annual summer showjumping league on a very hot summer’s evening! Thanks on the final night go to Raymond Caldwell for building his flowing course again with a little bit more of a challenge for the final, assisted by Alan Gilchrist & also Adrian Flood. Thanks to Chris Bogle for doing his usual efficient job of judging, Natasha Gilchrist entries, Pearl Donnell, Ruth O’Dowd, Pamela Caldwell & Yvonne Chisholm call up/gate & Ecclesville Equestrian Centre for the use of their premises. Killyliss Cleo & Henry Flood finished off the league on a clean sheet jumping double clears every week in the 60cm class to be the worthy winner of the AJS Promotions Perpetual Cup presented by Pearl Donnell, Treasurer of SVRC on behalf of Andrew Short. Receiving the Strule Valley Riding Club Perpetual Cup in the 70cm class was Freehall Beauty & Pamela Caldwell who also finished the league on a clean sheet; not to be outdone by nephew Henry Flood!
What a night for Trillick rider Noel Regan & his lovely young small hunter Kallie who jumped double clear every week in the 80cm class, winning both the 80cm & 90cm league classes & receiving the L W Surphlis & Son Perpetual Trophy from Mary Surphlis & the Good Gracious Perpetual Cup in the 90cm class from Pamela & Raymond Caldwell.

Donegal rider Clodagh Barry & her consistent, young at heart pony Mervyn took top spot in the metre class in the league, winning the Omagh Equestrian & Countrywear Perpetual Cup presented on the night by Lisa Patterson & Sheelagh McCrory.
Noel Regan then topped the night off by being presented with the Fordie Cathers Perpetual Cup by Joan Potts for being the highest placed SVRC member.
Amy Hetherington & Nadia = 3rd in the 70cm class, Henry Flood & Killyliss Cleo 2nd & Rebecca McLean & Penny = 3rd with their prizes very kindly sponsored by Sean Cooney from BOTANICA
