Alanna and ‘Kinard Sally’ at Connell Hill
Alanna Dunlop on Kinard Sally and Florence Mulholland on Whisper double clears in the 70 cm class
These popular training shows are proving so beneficial to all equine enthusiasts as they not only bring on the young or beginner rider but also the young horse introducing both to the wonderful world of show jumping. The 50 cm class saw Kerri Thompson on ‘Cracker’ gaining confidence jumping a clear round and Justin Corscadden on ‘Romany’, a novice horse making her debut, also jumping clear. A combination gaining confidence and improving riding and jumping skills are Alanna Dunlop on ‘Kinard Sally’ as they claimed a double clear in the 70 cm class with Jodie Creighton on ‘Roxy’ and Florence Mulholland on ‘Whisper’ also going double clear. Then when it came to the 80 cm class double clears were taken by Florence Mulholland on ‘Whisper’, Sarah Fulton on ‘Fiasco’ and Ashley Byrne on ‘Prince’ with Jodie Creighton on ‘Oopy’ jumping a super double clear in the 90 cm class.
SJI Horse League 25th May with final on Thursday 30th May at 10.00 am, classes 80 cm – 1.30 m.
New SJI Horse League on Thursday 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th June, 4th, 11th, 18th July, final on Thursday 25th July, classes 80 cm – 1.30 m, starting 10.00 am
Training Show for horses and ponies continue on Friday nights, at 6.30 pm, 50 cm – 1.10 m classes where everyone is welcome to come along and socialise with a hot snack, tea/coffee/soft drink from the cafe.
