An Exciting Ecclesville Showjumping Final

The Final of the Ecclesville Spring 2013 Showjumping League was held on Friday 26 April and it most definitely finished on a high, being another very successful league.

The spectators were very enthusiastic as the qualified combinations twisted and flew round Raymond Caldwell’s courses!  The very deserving winner in the 60cm class was Matthew Hempton riding the very speedy Minnie the Minx. The red ribbon in the 70cm class was awarded to Katie Hetherington and Izzy who were very consistent over the entire League. Adam Shortt and Henry picked up the first place rosette in the 80cm class.

The 90cm class was won by Katie Leonard and Jolene, who rose to the challenge of Raymond Caldwell’s twisty course.  Julie Burleigh and Chardonnay were the clear winners in the 1m class and the final class of the evening, the 1.10m, went to Roisin Donnelly and Ria.

The organisers would like to thank all the many competitors who supported this league. Also sincere thanks to Raymond Caldwell, Course Builder, assisted by Malvern Moore, to all the helpers from RD Equestrian who helped with call-up and to Rachel Magee who assisted with the timing on the Final.
