Supreme Training at Connell Hill

Its Friday night and where better to get your weekend off to a great start than at Connell Hills Training Show where schooling both horse and rider can be undertaken in a relaxed friendly environment.  Here both the outdoor and indoor arenas are set in tranquil countryside surroundings with first class surfaces aiding confidence with comfort riding.  Competitors arrived in style with the early evening showers soon disappearing as Amy Fleming opened the show taking the first red rosette of the night with her super pony ‘Oreo’ in the 50 cm class.  Bertha Rea then displayed her riding skills jumping double clear on ‘Jess’ in the 60 cm class.  This was one supreme evening full of competition, relaxation, but most of all one enjoyed by all and with the course adjusted the 70 cm class got under way with Rory O’Neill jumping a very well controlled double clear on ‘Sugar Supreme’ with Kenny McMullan confidently jumping double clear in the 80 cm class on ‘Juno’.  Laura Gordon then took the first double clear in the 90 cm class on ‘Jake’ with Beth Boone closing the show double clear on ‘Polly in the 1.0 m class.  Training will continue next Friday night at 6.30 pm, classes x-poles – 1.0 m where everyone is welcome to come along and join in the fun of training, contact Gillian on 078 0317 8009 or Grace on 077 6588 4254 for further information.
