Anna and ‘Sammy’ Reap Success at Connell Hill’s Training Show
Summer has officially arrived and thankfully the sun has hitched a ride, so where better to enjoy jumping a professionally designed course of fences in a superb outdoor arena than at Connell Hill on a Friday night, and that is just what riders did as they trained, schooled and enjoyed a night of pleasurable jumping. The 70 cm class saw a full house of double clears with Helen Hoffin going on to jump double clear in the 80 cm class on ‘Rachel’ and Anna Jackson, reaping a very successful night, displayed her talent of control from the driving seat on her super pony ‘Sammy’. Beth Boone closed the evening with a tremendous double clear on her very athletic pony ‘Polly’ in the 1.0 m class. Training will continue next Friday night at 6.30 pm x-poles, 40 cm & 50 cm, 60 cm – 1.0 m.
