Spring Leagues Winding up at Ravensdale Lodge

There are eleven weeks down and only three to go before the conclusion of the spring run of shows at Ravensdale Lodge and while the weather has been pretty dyer since the end of January the time has flown by as the final preparations are being put to the upcoming summer season. Competition will move outdoors hopefully in the first week of May but should the weather remain as bad as recent weeks then there is always the option to stay indoors. There are two weeks of indoor shows before the week of finals from Thursday 25th to Sunday 28th April and all  combinations are advised to keep an eye on the league tables to make sure they are qualified. All league tables are updated weekly on the Ravensdale Lodge website and while only qualified combinations can compete for prizes in the final, everyone is welcome to jump or compete in each of the four finals. Competition continues this week with registered SJI show jumping on Thursday with horses starting at 11am and ponies at 5pm. Horse & pony training continues on Friday from 5pm with classes to suit everyone from X poles to 1.20m. Staying with jumping, Saturday sees the popular indoor arena eventing series continue with four classes from 60cm to 1m and a start time of 3pm. Dressage takes centre stage on Sunday from 3pm with all four classes on the centres website.
