Red Letter Night at Connell Hill Training Show
Connell Hill set courses for competitors to jump/train/school at the Training Show on Friday night where everyone received a warm welcome. The courses set in the outdoor arena offered riders the opportunity of brushing up on skills with the sure-footedness of take-off and landing in the comfort of the cushion like surface. The first red rosettes of the night were presented to, future young athletes, the ‘Letters’ sisters, Amy Lee and Jessica jumping clear rounds in the x-poles class on ‘Sparkle’. The next class, the 50 cm class, again saw promising young athletes, Jersey McGill on ‘Indie’ and Chloe McMullan on ‘Teddy’ claim their red for jumping clear rounds with Chloe and ‘Teddy’ then jumping double clear in the 60 cm challenge. Chloe Gillespie took control of the 70 cm class jumping double clear on ‘Bo’ and ‘Hope’. The course then adjusted for the 80 cm class saw Cherie MuHugh jump the first double clear on ‘Bob’ with Danielle Mckeown on ‘Dumb Dumb’ and Chloe Connon on ‘Hip Hop’ who then took the 90 cm challenge and hopped to victory jumping the only double clear round. Jumping continues next Friday night at 6.30 pm, x-poles, 40 & 50 cm, 60 cm – 1.0 m classes, so load up and come along to this family orientated venue where the whole family can participate and make a great start to your weekend.
