Ballinamona Prepares For Fifth Round of Connolly’s Red Mills GP
The Connolly’s RED MILLS Munster Grand Prix league resumes this weekend, with Ballinamona Equestrian Centre just outside Waterford City hosting the fifth round of the series on Sunday.
The biggest field of the season so far have declared for action, with a huge 58 horses and riders on the start-list, including league-leader Francis Connors and Uskerty Diamond Lady.
Cork’s Alan O Regan currently lies in second spot with Electric Feel, 13 points behind the leader, but with the series yet to reach the halfway point everything is still to play for.
The fifth round of the FBD Speed Series will kick off the action at Ballinamona, a competition which has proved a huge hit with spectators. Waterford’s Paul Beecher and Tipperary’s Liam O Meara have been the standout performers in the FBD Speed Series so far with two wins apiece and both riders will line out again this weekend at the Waterford venue.
