Big ‘Bounty’ Training Show at Connell Hill
Connell Hill welcomed a ‘bounty’ of competitors seizing the opportunity of training/schooling at the outdoor Training Show which saw a fine cloudless sky on Friday night. The top notch spacious arena offers riders extensive area space to encourage and confidence build, not only the young novice horse, but also the rider. The show got off to a roaring start with clear rounds for riders, turning out in mint show condition, for the x-poles, 30/40 cm and 50 cm classes, well done. Hannah Woolsey on ‘Candy’ and Eva Miller on ‘Lucy’ then went on to claim double clears rounds when they took the 60 cm challenge. Emma Hoy had a most successful nights jumping, on ‘Bounty’, claiming double clear rounds in the 70 cm and 80 cm classes and with this huge credence safely tucked under her saddle then went on to claim yet another double clear in the 90 cm class. This Training Show will continue next Friday night at 6.30 pm, x-poles, 40 cm and 50 cm, 60 – 1.0 m classes where everyone will receive a warm welcome.
