SMWRC Second Leg Dressage League Results

SMWRC hosted the 2nd leg of their popular dressage league on Sunday 26th April 2015 at Laurelview Equestrian Centre. With such superb prizes on offer, there were large entries across all classes. The club are indebted to Laurelview for their excellent facilities, Joan Adrian and Jennifer Howes who expertly judged the tests, our fabulous sponsors: Grove Auto Services, Rolltack, Millies Jumps, Forever Living and Botanica and all the committee and members for helping on the day. The date of the FINAL leg is Sunday 10th May 2015 with tests – Intro A (2008) Prelim 14 (2006) Novice 27 (2007) Elem 42 (2002). The Final will also host a Dressage to Music – Preliminary Freestyle 2012 class – this is an opportunity to ride your test movements to your choice of music!! Joan Adrian judged the Intro Class- sponsored by Grove Auto Services and the Preliminary Class – sponsored by Rolltack. In the Intro Class the red ribbon went to Gerri Harron-Andrews & Rock Steady Teddy with Tara Murphy & Bella in 2nd place and Linda McIlwaine & Beechmount Reeba in 3rd place.

The Preliminary Class attracted the largest entry of the day with 1st place being awarded to Barbara Dixon & Shadow. The relatively new partnership of Natasha Wylie & Chance closely followed this into 2nd place and Amy Neill & Riskit Rebel claimed 3rd place.

The Novice Class – sponsored by Millies Jumps was judged by Jennifer Howes and narrowly seen Angeline Nicholson’s lovely home bred mare, Margie Mac rode by Erin Faloona claim the top spot just ahead of Penny Murphy and her coloured mare Tick It. The 3rd placing went to Camilla Hamilton & Polly.

The final class of the day, the Elementary – sponsored by Forever Living seen Jennifer Howes award 1st place to the consistent Erin Faloona & Margie Mac with Katie King & Isaac De La Bouverie in 2nd place and Penny Murphy & Tick It in 3rd place.
