Greg Broderick and Going Global Win 50,000 Euro Californian GP

Tipperary’s Greg Broderick scored a stunning win in last night’s (Sunday) €50,000 Horseware Ireland sponsored Grand Prix, at Thermal, California on the American West Coast.

horsesportirelandBroderick was riding the Caledonia Stables owned nine year-old gelding Going Global and they beat off a top class field that included American riders Richard Spooner and Rich Fellers, who finished fifth with the Irish-bred former World Cup champion Flexible.

Greg Broderick collected €15,000 for last night’s win, which comes on the back of another victory at the Californian venue on Saturday with MHS Automatic.
