One of the world’s largest purpose built equestrian venues, Emerald International Equestrian Centre, has been placed on the open market for sale, with selling agents REA McDonald Bros beginning a tender process which will end on February 27th 2015.
Set on 58 acres of prime pasture land, Emerald International Equestrian Centre is located in Co Kildare – the horse capital of Ireland and boasts an indoor arena with seating for 3,000 people, two bars, a restaurant, toilets and extensive office space.
The property includes two indoor and three outdoor jumping arenas, all with the same high quality jumping surface, which was supplied by Equestrian Surfaces Ireland in 2014 and received hugely positive feedback from some of the world’s top riders during its first events in 2014.
Show Jumping world-number-one Scott Brash commented at the time,
““This is a world class facility with some of the best arena surfaces I have seen anywhere in the world.”
Emerald International boasts ample car and truck parking along with 44 stables and also includes a separate building with a fully equipped four bedroom apartment and also a further one bedroom apartment.
The construction of the premises has been completed to a very high standard and is fully compliant with current fire regulations and building standards.
Emerald International is available for sale by private tender in 2 lots; Lot 1 – The Equestrian Centre on 49.55 acres of land and Lot 2 – Lands extending to 8.73 acres.
Capable of hosing any equestrian event, Emerald International is possibly the only venue in Ireland capable of holding a 5 star World Cup Show, with its indoor jumping surface among the largest in Europe.
