Connell Hill Training Show Jumps For Fun
Winter weather? What winter weather? Snow showers and baltic conditions could not deter equine enthusiasts travel to their number one venue for Connell Hills’ Training Show on Friday night. Here the first class maintained surface encouraging horses to go forward with confidence allowing them to develop their natural ability. Cookstown waved goodbye to Kim Moore as she made her way to Connell Hill claiming red on ‘Elsie’ in the x-poles and 50 cm class. Beth McCartney with her super horse ‘Folly’ took the honours as they journeyed over the 60 and 70 cm classes jumping double clear. Stealing the hearts of spectators jumping double clear in the 70 cm class was Ashley Kelly as she corrected and judged strides on ‘Jack of Hearts’ with Naomi McCavana on ‘Molly’ following suit. Ever the professional demonstrating skill and taking all in her stride meeting fences with true professionalism Jodie Creighton jumped double clear on ‘Pat’ and ‘Frodo’.
