‘Top Cat’ Top Notch at Connell Hill’s Training League Show
As the temperatures dropped on Friday night things were hotting up indoors at Connell Hill Training League Show as competitors become increasingly more excited nearing the final of this league which will be held on Friday 19th December, so only one more qualifying date next Friday 12th December. Connell Hill welcomes all competitors to join us for a most exciting finale. A red rosette means as much to a parent as the young rider who receives it and non more so than young athletes in the x-poles class which saw Ellen O’Neill on ‘Coco Pops’, Rebecca Saunderson on ‘Col’ and Joel O’Neill on ‘Coco Pops’ when they all received red rosettes for clear rounds. The 50 cm class then saw the McCartney sisters Erin on ‘Tilly’ and Beth on ‘Folly’ achieve red for clear rounds. Naomi McCavanna entered the arena for the challenging 70 cm class and jumped an outstanding double clear on ‘Molly’. The arena crew then adjusted the course for the 80 cm class which saw Lindsey Cameron take the first double clear on ‘Jess’ followed by Alice Agnew on ‘Tanner’. The final class of the night saw a top notch double clear for Chloe Hope on ‘Top Cat’.
The Training League Show continues next Friday night, the last qualifying date for the Final on Friday 19th December at 6.30 pm which has sponsorship from Annaghmore Saddlery and Horse First.
