Connell Hill Enjoys ‘Magical’ Training League Show

Connell Hills’ Training League Show on Friday was a magical night as competitors had a most enjoyable experience jumping over colourful tracks designed to bring on the novice horse.  These tracks also benefit riders as they gain confidence aiming higher and improving skills of judging strides.  The nights jumping commenced with a full house of clears for the x-poles class which then moved to the 50 cm class with Aine Cassley, jumping clear on her novice pony ‘Lucky’.  This was certainly a magical night for Ryan Stewart, who had already claimed red, jump double clear picking up another red on ‘Silver Magic’ in the 60 cm class.  The 70 cm class then saw success for Chloe Smyth jumping double clear on ‘Maverick’ and confidently aiming higher with double clears in the 70 cm and 80 cm classes was Caitlin Mann on ‘Verna’.  Ally Wilson then demonstrated her skilful riding jumping double clear in the 90 cm and 1.0 m classes on ‘Callie’.  So load up and make the very worthwhile journey to Connell Hill next Friday night, x-poles to 1.0 m at 6.30 pm, the final of this league on Friday night 19^th December, competitors to jump at five dates (same horse and rider combination) to qualify for the final. With a host of shows coming up Christmas promises to be magical with Connell Hill bringing it alive at the first Christmas Show, ‘All That Glitters Xmas Show’, on Saturday 6^th December at 10.00 am, X-Poles to 1.0 m.
