Pounds for Points League proving popular at Laurel View

1^st October, saw the Laurel View indoor arenas a hive of activity for the first leg of the 12 week Winter Show Jumping League, with the competition continuing to gather pace on the consecutive two weeks. This league is once again being run on a point’s basis, rewarding steady and consistent competitors.  The added incentive is that at the final League Winners will have their points converted to pounds.

 

It’s wonderful to see a lot more new faces to the competitive jumping arena, mostly following on from another show jumping clinic for Laurel View riding school riders.

 

Competitors experienced or otherwise were particularly grateful for the shelter of the Laurel View Indoor arenas as the October weather took a very damp turn for the worse.

 

Throughout the league the jumping will start with the 45cm at 6pm, then it jumps up to 60cm, before progressing in 10cm increments up to a metre (and beyond if interest and time allows)
