No end to Laurel View Summer

When the Laurel View End of Summer Show was scheduled for the 31^st August, it was hoped that the naming of the show would not signal the actual end of summer, thankfully the opposite was the case and we have all enjoyed one of the best Septembers on record.  The good weather being one of the reasons used to excuse the tardiness of these August results.

 

The first Sunday in August saw competitors testing their skills at the Le Trec Challenge, Obstacle Dressage and Barrel Agility in the Novelty 3 Phase Event. This competition can be enjoyed by all riders and their four legged friends.  The assisted category was unusually low in competitor numbers, but hopefully the word will spread about this competition that can suit all levels of equestrian ability and more will come and have a go at the next Novelty 3 Phase on Sunday 23^rd November from 12.30pm.

 

The End of Summer Show rounded up the August competitions and there was a fine display of horses and ponies came along to compete in the many classes, which included Working Hunter, Show Jumping, Utility, Showing and In Hand Classes. Capturing the competitors winning smiles on the day was the Equi-Tog photographer.  Next show in the Laurel View schedule is the Halloween Show on Sunday 26^th October, with a great selection of classes to tempt participants to get involved, see www.laurelview.co.uk for the full schedule.
