Week ending 12th October 2014, results Ravensdale Lodge Equestrian & Event Centre.
Show organisers at Ravensdale Lodge are gearing up for a giveaway spree over the Halloween bank holiday weekend from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th October. Not only will the centre be holding their annual “Spooktacular Bumper Bank Holiday Show” on Sunday 26th, they are also planning on giving away lots of bonus prizes and points at their Botanica International sponsored indoor horse & pony training league on Friday 24th from 5.30pm as well as their Horse First sponsored indoor arena eventing league on Saturday 25th from 2pm. Both of these shows are part of the “Smart leagues” initiative which is now in its second year where there are four hi tech smart tablets to be given away at the end of the league. Double points can be earned for both leagues on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th as well as the great class prizes on offer from Botanica International and Horse First. In addition to these class prizes Ravensdale Lodge are to add their own prizes into the mix over the weekend with signature Ravensdale Lodge rugs and saddle pads up for grabs for everyone who enters as a draw will be made on the day. A day of fun filled action is planned for Sunday 26th October as the last but one Bumper Bank Holiday Show of the year is set to take place from 11am with timed classes from X poles to 1.10m. There will be the usual array of great prizes on offer at this spooktacular show with Ravensdale Lodge, Moorhill Saddlery, Mackins Horse Feeds, Botanica International & Horse First all putting up lovely prizes for this show. There will be extra rewards for the scariest combinations with spot prizes being given to best costumes and make up on the day. These competitions are open to both horses and ponies and all are welcome for what is guaranteed to be a great weekend of equestrian competition.
