It’s Turbo Power at Connell Hill’s Training League Show

The second leg of the ‘Training League Show’ on Friday night saw a large number of riders join in the competition to qualify for the final of this league on Friday 19^th December.  To be eligible for prizes in the final competitors must compete at five league shows, with same rider and horse combination in same height class.  This has heightened the fun filled competitive atmosphere at this training show which saw young athletes proudly adorning their rosettes throughout the night.  The X-Poles again saw a full house of clears with Donna Barron jumping clear in the 50 cm class on ‘Duchess’.  It then moved to turbo power as Chloe Connon took the first double clear in the 60 cm class on and then took another double clear in the 70 cm class on ‘Turbo’.  Natasha McKernan then took the first red rosette for double clear in the 80 cm class on ‘Star Status’ with Emily Slaine on ‘Lotto’ and Morgan Skillen on ‘Mayo jumping double clear in the 90 cm class.  Same show same time (6.30 pm) next week where a warm welcome awaits all with café facilities for hot/cold snacks and beverages.
