6 of Worlds Top 10 Destined for RDS
A formidable list of International riders has been confirmed for this week’s Discover Ireland Dublin Horse Show at the RDS, including the eight teams who will do battle in Friday’s Furusiyya Nations Cup competition for the Aga Khan Trophy.

Six of the top ten riders in the world will be in action at the RDS in Ballsbridge from Wednesday to Sunday of this week, including all three top ranked riders on the latest Longines World Jumping list.
World number one Scott Brash and fellow Britain Ben Maher at numer two, are joined by German super-star and four time Olympic Gold Medalist Ludger Beerbaum who currently lies third on the world rankings
Fellow world top ten ranked Kent Farrington (USA), Daniel Deusser (GER) and Bezzie Madden (USA), will also grace the famous Dublin 4 turf, along with rock legend Bruce Springsteen’s daughter Jessica, who is part of a strong looking American team
The list of Irish competitors includes Aga Khan squad members Denis Lynch, Cian O Connor, Dermott Lennon and Billy Twomey along with rising star Bertram Allen from Co Wexford, who is by far the youngest member of the Nations Cup squads at just nineteen years of age.
