Penny has the winning Tick-It at Laurel View

Penny Murphy earned red rosettes for two classes at the June leg of the Laurel View Summer Dressage League on the 22^nd.  Definitely a good day at the office for Penny, but many others also went home very proud and pleased with their performance.

 

Cindy Cunningham rode a lovely Intro A test on Apache Dove to impress judge Amy Neill.  Stephanie Glasgow and Nano should be equally proud of their second placed performance.

 

Natasha Wylie was tasked with judging the Newcomers riding Prelim 4, Bronagh Stevenson took 1^st and 2^nd place on Lady and Charlie respectively.

 

Martina McKinley judged the large Class 3 competitors ride Prelim 12 very proficiently, her top place went to Sarah Fulton riding Fiasco Zed, with the blue rosette going to Shelley McFarlane on William.

 

Will McAuley awarded Penny Murphy and Tick-it 82.08% making them the clear winners of Class 4.  With a score of 75.21% Linda McIlwaine and Beechmount Baxter were also justifiably proud of their Prelim 14 performance which placed them second.

 

Another first from Will McAuley for Penny Murphy and Tick-it for riding the Novice 28 test. Lisa Dundee riding Christie took home the second place honours for Class 5.

 

Angelene Nicholson took over the judge’s chair for the Open class. The top test was awarded to Kirsty Marsden riding the Elementary test on Loughmourne Diamond with a second for Amy Neill and Wills also for riding the Elementary test.

 

All in all another very pleasing day of dressage at Laurel View and huge appreciation to everyone for their help and support, from the judges and scribes; Equi-tog photographer and runners; the arena prep team and the call-up co-ordinator, not forgetting the competitors themselves off course!
