Cavan June Horse & Pony Sale Sees Rise in Demand
Cavan Horse Marketing Centre’s 2 day Summer Horse & Pony sale on Tuesday 24th & Wednesday 25th June had a terrific buzz running through the complex throughout the sale. Many overseas buyers including Sweden, Belgium, Libya, England and Scotland along with the many home grown buyers from North and South helped to achieve a high clearance. Many regular buyers were in attendance and it was encouraging to see the many new visitors who all had an enjoyable experience. The top priced ponies over the two days were as follows:

The very practical and useful bonus of a half tonne of Horse Feed which is sponsored by GAIN which is highly regarded by horse and pony owners alike went to John Ryan for the highest priced horse and Riverview Stables for the highest priced pony. Cavan Horse Sales next sale is in August which is an International Performance and Premier 3 Year Old Sale. Premier 3 Year Olds at this sale will have been selected at Viewing Days on Tuesday 15th and Tuesday 22nd July – all Viewing Days are in Cavan Equestrian Centre at 12.00noon and entries are on the day – you can book your place online at www.cavanequestrian.com from 1st July. The Premier 3YO Sale will take place on Tuesday 19th August and the Performance Horse & Pony Sale will be on Wednesday 20th & Thursday 21st August.
