Waterford’s Ballinamona EC to Host Connolly’s RED MILLS Munster Grand Prix league Third Round on Sunday
A massive 48 horses and riders have declared for this Sunday’s third round of the Connolly’s RED MILLS Munster Grand Prix league, at Ballinamona Equestrian Centre just outside Waterford City.
The series kicked off at Aglish Gymkhana in May with a win for Meath’s Gerard Clarke before Tipperary’s Seamus Hayes landed the second leg at Middleton Show.
However both of these riders are absent from the Ballinamona start-list, giving those with title ambitions an oportunity to take advantage.
Spectators at the Waterford venue will have plenty of locals to support, regining Connolly’s RED Mills league champion Francis Connors, National Champion Paddy O Donnell and former Hickstead Derby winner Paul Beecher, are just some of the riders from the deise taking part, although they will have a fight on their hands with National Grand Prix league champion Greg Broderick and an in-form Liam O Meara also among the favourites.
The Connolly’s RED MILLS Munster Grand Prix at Ballinamona gets underway at 2pm on Sunday.
