“Egg”cellent Show at Laurel View Equestrian Centre

Easter antics were on the Laurel View agenda indoors on Sunday 27^th April with the eagerly anticipated Easter Show.

 

Outdoors in the afternoon the cross country course was also seeing plenty of action with its first go as you please of 2014 following the popular Mid Antrim 2 Phase on the Saturday.

 

The full list of rosette and prize winners is detailed below, but taking the 1^st place honours over the pony show jumps were Grace Murray on Holiday Candlelight, Katie Bamford on Scout and Katelyn Irvine on Sparky.

 

Christine Murray rode Holiday Candlelight to win the Pony Accumulator, while the pairs top spot was claimed by Sophie McGuckin and Emma Louise Gourley on Addy and Jeronamo respectively. The final first over the jumps was won by Katie McDonnell on Tinker for the Horse Accumulator.

 

Meanwhile in the smaller indoor the obstacle course caused great fun for riders of all ages. There was strong competition in all three classes, but when the times and penalties were totted up the winners were Rory Meldrum on Ben; Christine Murray on Holiday Candlelight and Grace Morton leading Rocky.
