Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary Annual Sponsored Dog Walk 2014
Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary, CLAS, in Co. Antrim will be holding it’s Annual Sponsored Dog Walk on Saturday 10th May, leaving the Sanctuary at 1pm with light refreshments on return. Traditionally this is a chance for everyone to get together to support the charity and to bring their dogs, many of whom are rescued dogs, on a 4 mile sponsored walk or simply come with friends and family. The route is along country roads and is suitable for buggies and well behaved dogs on leads. Some of the charity’s horses and ponies also enjoy the walk.
If you can’t make it to the walk, you can still help by sponsoring one of the charity’s rescued dogs who will be taking part. Alternatively, why not hold an event in your own area and ask friends and family to sponsor.
Sarah, pictured, is still looking for a special loving home that can accommodate her needs. She is completely deaf and partially blind but still has bundles of energy to burn so she would need a large enclosed run and plenty of regular long walks.

All the money collected will go directly towards the care of the horses, dogs, cats and chickens at Crosskennan.
