Cavan’s April Sale a Big Success
Lot 184 reached the price of €7000
The Cavan International Horse & Pony April Sale on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd experienced a massive 69% turnover of the performance horses and ponies that were on offer with some making it as far afield as the USA.
Vendors were thrilled with the some of the fantastic prices their lots reached, while existing and new clients were kept on their toes during the sale, bidding for their desired lots. Buyers from all over were in attendance with the UK and Europe being very well represented in the buying stakes as well as quite a number of Lots staying on home soil.
A brisk sale continued over the two days with some excellent prices being achieved for some very desirable Lots. Some other top prices can be found below.
Lot 152 -reached €6k
The very practical and useful bonus of a half tonne of Horse Feed which is sponsored by GAIN which is highly regarded by horse and pony owners alike went to Cafre Enniskillen for the highest priced horse and Ciaran Nallon for the highest priced pony.

Photos and videos were definitely an advantage in selling some of these Lots as potential purchasers had a chance to view them before coming and all agreed that it would be very helpful if more vendors were to take advantage of this.
