Last weekend Omagh RDA was visited by British Para Equestrian Coach, Clive Milkins.  During his time at the centre, Clive delivered training to all Omagh RDA Coaches, as well as providing numerous rider clinics for both able bodied and Disabled clients.

Clive has a wealth of experience in the equine industry, having started off in Warwickshire College, Clive then moved to South Bucks RDA group, where with the help of the Committee was instrumental in remoulding the group.  Along with his RDA coaching Clive has also been part if the British Para Dressage coaching team, where he played a part in coaching Sophie Christiansen to triple gold Paralympic success in London 2012, as well as numerous other international titles.

Through his coaching at the highest level, Clive now has an international reputation on the worldwide stage, having recently returned from time in Australia and Hong Kong.

The group would like to extend their thanks to Clive for providing the group with such motivation and inspiration over the weekend, thanks are also extended to all the parents, riders, volunteers and RDA friends who helped make the weekend such a success.  It is hoped that Clive will return to the group in the summer to further assist the group in their progression.
