Dark Horse Negotiates £10 Return Bus Trip to Down Royal

DAILY MIRROR SAINT PATRICK’S DAY AT DOWN ROYAL SATURDAY 16^TH MARCH 2013

 Down Royal racecourse and Belfast Bus Company are teaming up to offer a return bus journey from College Square North in Belfast to Down Royal Racecourse for every race meeting throughout 2013. The return journey is only £10 and the service will be commencing on Saturday 16^th March for the Daily Mirror St. Patrick’s Day race meeting at Down Royal.

Sue Crawford, General Manager Belfast Bus Company commented:

“We’re thrilled to be working with Down Royal Racecourse. We have been bussing private groups to the races for a number of years but this agreement opens our services up to all racegoers who want public transport from Belfast to Down Royal and back again after racing. “

 Mike Todd, General Manager of Down Royal commented:

 “At Down Royal, we’re constantly looking to innovate. We listen to our race goers and adapt accordingly. The return bus service from Belfast is another measure by Down Royal to meet the needs of our customers. It’s an achievable service at a good price point that will be available for all Down Royal visitors.”

The bus service will be running at the next race meeting at Down Royal, the Daily Mirror St. Patrick’s Day race meeting on 16^th March. Bus tickets should be purchased in advance from www.downroyal.com. The gates open at 12.00pm, the first race kicks off at 1:40pm (approx.) and the seventh and final race is scheduled for 4:30pm (approx.). Admission is £10 and children under 16 get in free. Entrance tickets can be purchased in advance from www.downroyal.com or at the turnstiles on the day.
