Numbers increasing at Ravensdale Lodge

As the good spell of weather continued, numbers competing at the various weekly competitions held at Ravensdale Lodge have been on the increase. The incentive of winning a fuel voucher for their efforts has also been appealing to anyone who may have to travel a distance. This incentive scheme is working very well and the gesture by Ravensdale Lodge has been well received and appreciated by all. This week’s lucky winners were Barry Murphy & Gucci on Friday evening, Oinri Jackson & The Metropole on Saturday and Susan Scott & Talubet Oz on Sunday. Congratulations to all three, there will be a draw for three more vouchers this week and everyone who competes on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday will go into the draw regardless of where they are placed in their class. In addition to the fuel voucher draw, all three leagues have great sponsors prizes for all classes which have five or more entries in them. Competition continues at Ravensdale Lodge this week with the Crowne Plaza Dundalk sponsored SJI indoor horse and pony league, horses start time is 11am with ponies jumping from 5pm, usual classes. Horseware Ireland sponsor the indoor horse & pony training league on Friday evening from 5pm with classes from X poles to 1.10m, the Mackins Horse Feeds indoor arena eventing league continues on Saturday from 3pm with four classes from 60cm to 1m and a start time of 3pm while the Cemac Group sponsored indoor dressage league runs on Sunday afternoon from 3pm with all weekly

classes on the Ravensdale Lodge website. Ravensdale Lodge play host to the Red Mills Pony Spring Tour final on Sunday 24th March and with viewing for International selection at stake a great days competition is guaranteed at this two arena show. Combinations preparing for this show have a great opportunity to school in advance of the competition at the centre with two weeks of SJI registered jumping at Ravensdale Lodge on Thursday from 5pm.
