Knockaghview Equestrian Centre was a hive of activity on Sunday for the second round of the Ulster Schools’ Show Jumping Championships. Schools from all over the province made the journey to Greenisland.  The arena was looking brilliant thanks to course builder Alistair Megahey and the team at Knoackagh View and of course the sun shone all day.

In the novice team competition 3 teams made it through to the jump off.  Ballymena Academy, Belfast Royal Academy and Coleraine High School.  Amber Vick and Victoria Minford jumped off for BRA they produced 2 excellent speed rounds to win the competition ahead of Coleraine with Ballymena Academy in third.

Ballyclare High Schools open team of Lia McKenzie, Katy McKay, Susie Megahey and Rachel Black produced four excellent rounds to take them into the jump off.  They held their nerve in the jump off to win the completion against a very strong field of competitors.
