Week ending 27th October 2013, results Ravensdale Lodge Equestrian & Event Centre

The rainfall that fell by the bucketful over the weekend did not deter competitors from attending the four weekly shows at Ravensdale Lodge as everyone was happy to be under cover in the two indoor arenas at the centre. With the opportunity to warm up under cover before jumping in the main arena everyone was high and dry as the rain fell outside. Thursday saw week five of the Tonino Lamborghini sponsored SJI registered indoor horse show at the centre and this league continues weekly until 12th December with a start time of 11am and classes from 80cm to 1.30m, there are two training classes, a 70cm & an 80cm and these two classes should be completed before 11am. Friday evening you can set your clock for the Botasnica International horse & pony training league from 5.30pm and combinations are asked to arrive early for this league as there are large weekly attendances for the seven classes from X poles to 1.10m, this league continues to Friday 13th December. It was the turn of indoor arena eventing on Saturday and the Horse First sponsored indoor arena eventing league continues every Saturday to December 14th with three classes.

The 70cm class commences at 3pm and is followed by the 85cm class at 4pm and the 1m class at 5pm. Ravensdale Lodge held their last but one Bumper Show of 2013 and there was a great attendance at the Bumper Halloween Show on Sunday 27th October and results from this and all weekly shows can be seen below. There was no dressage this week due to the Halloween show on Sunday but the O’ Reillys €1000 indoor dressage league continues next Sunday 3rd November and every Sunday to December 15th. The charity pot for this league currently stands at €700 which is a fantastic €175 / class towards the class winners nominated charity.
