New Term for Omagh RDA

| August 16, 2013

After a triumphant and busy summer, following the groups successes at the UK National Championships were the group scooped 5 wins as well as many other placing, and the Ministerial visit from the DCAL minister, it was a super summer for the Arvalee based group. Omagh RDA reopen its doors to riders again from 27th September 2013 ready for the new Autumn term.

The group are now re opening their waiting list for riding and  carriage driving applications, anyone interested should contact the group organiser by emailing omaghrda@hotmail.co.uk or by calling 07709199474.

Few hours to spare?

As one of the UK’s most vibrant and dynamic groups,  Omagh RDA are also looking for new volunteers to help with the deliverance of all the programmes.  Could that be you?

Volunteers are required for both riding and driving as well as other group activities, no previous experience is required as full RDA training will be provided through the induction evenings planned for the beginning of September.

Scared of horses???  That isn’t a problem either, Volunteer opportunities arise away from the stabling environment too,  assistance is always welcomed from those with interests or skills in administration, fund raising and publicity as well as medical based skills such as physiotherapy.

So would you like to give volunteering at Omagh RDA a go? Volunteer enquires should be addressed to the Group’s Volunteer Development Officer, Mrs Gwen Garrett by contacting her on 07785952824.
