Lessans Riding Stables Ladies Day Sun 28th July

| July 12, 2013

lessansBack by popular demand this year, the Lessans Riding Stables Ladies Day show will take place on Sunday 28 July. The Saintfield yard would like to invite everyone of the female persuasion to don their glad rags, polish up their trusty steeds and come and be a real lady for the day!
Three arenas will be in action, beginning at 11.30 am, where a wide range of classes will be certain to entertain and inspire spectators. Scheduled classes will include Small Ridden Hunter, Junior Side Saddle, Ladies Equitation Side Saddle, Racehorse to Riding Horse (both Training and Novice), a cob class, a coloured horse class and a ridden show class for mounts displaying a suitable temperament and way of going to carry a lady.
With some very pretty prizes on offer, there will also be both Novice and Open Working Hunter classes tackling a testing course of rustic fences – meaning there’s sure to be something for every girl, from the young to the young-at-heart…
And, even if you’re not a rider – or a lady! – you can still come along and enjoy the barbecue and ‘champagne tent’ which will be serving sumptuous refreshments to add a final touch of sparkle to the day.
So, whether your heart lies with the elegant or the action-packed, why not try your luck at Lessans Ladies Day?
