Sun Shines on Strule Valley
STRULE VALLEY RIDING CLUB held the 1st night of their annual summer showjumping league at Ecclesville on a beautiful warm sunny evening. The league continues on Wednesday 26th June, Wednesday 3rd July & the final is scheduled for Wednesday 10th July.
Perpetual Cups have been very generously sponsored by Ann Patterson from Omagh Equestrian & Countrywear, Mary Surphlis from L W Surphlis, Pamela & Raymond Caldwell & Andrew Short from AJS Promotions. The Fordie Cathers Perpetual Cup will also be awarded to the highest placed SVRC member at the final. To be in with a chance of winning one of these fantastic perpetual cups; the same pony/horse/rider combination should compete 2 out of 3 weeks to be eligible for cups/prizes on the final night.

Local rider Henry Flood & his very nicely turned out pony Killyliss Cleo started off the league in fine form jumping double clear in both the 60 & 70 cm classes.
