Third place went to Aoife Dooley on Judy Murphy’s Tullyoran Magic finishing on a time of 33.66secs.

The 1.20m class saw Holly Latimer, second last to go stealing the top place on

The eagerly awaited main event of the day,  the Kernan Equestrian Centre sponsored 1.30m Grand Prix kicked off with first to go, James Kernan on the grey Ben Mullier producing the first of just four clear rounds.  James also went clear on Dominic Rice’s Premier Sport.  The other two combinations through to the jump off were Anita Doherty on Fitz and Ryan O’ Neill on Roxborough Jimmy Choo.  Last to go in the jump off  James Kernan on Premier Sport finished on the fastest time of 51.41 secs but incurred 4 faults with the result that Anita Doherty’s faultless clear round in a good time of 52.73secs assured her the coveteted 1st place.  Anita was rightly delighted with her win. Second to go in the jump off Ryan O’Neill on Roisin Hughes’s Roxbrough incurred an unfortunate 4 faults at the first fence leaving them in 3rd place.

Course designer Alistair Megahey’s  strong but challenging courses produced good results.
