New SJI Horse League at Connell Hill

At the first day of this new SJI Horse league competitors and horses turned out to jump a course of fences designed to bring on the younger horse and encourage the more mature horse to build on their potential.  To qualify for the final on Thursday 30^th May competitors must attend two league dates.

The day started with the 80 and 90 cm classes which saw Emma Barkley jumping double clears on both her horses ‘Tawneybrack Diamond’ and ‘Jools Jewel’.  When the 1.0 m class got under way William Bell on ‘Shanroe Spirit’ led the way with the first double clear, competition was high when the clocks were set for the 1.20 m class with Claire O’Hara on Tiffcrum Penny jumping into 1^st place and close on her heels taking 2^nd was Thomas Compton on ‘Daingeann Sunday Spirit’.

SJI Horse League 11^th, 18^th, 25^th May with final on Thursday 30^th May at 10.00 am, classes 80 cm – 1.30 m.
