Magners Derby Raises the Stakes at Down Royal

Chris, a former winner of the Magners Derby in 2007 and 2010 is planning to race at this year’s meeting and hoping to make it a lucky treble.
Northern Ireland race-goers will have plenty to celebrate at this year’s Magners Derby with the announcement that the prize money has increased from €65,000 to a whopping €100,000.
This will be the third year that Magners has been associated with one of Northern Ireland’s most popular race day meetings with over 6,000 people expected to attend the event at Down Royal on June 22nd 2013.
